Speak the job. Send the quote. Be home before dark.

The voice-first quoting app for Australian sole-operator tradies and handymen. Describe the job in plain English — Quickhands writes the line items, catches the costs you'd otherwise forget, and sends a branded PDF before you've packed up the ute.

The full app will be released soon in 2026.

The demo version of the app (for android) allows you to try the core quotation-to-pdf functionality.Want try or see it work without downloading?
If you're in Sydney, I'm happy to show you the app on my phone for five minutes of your time in person. Honest feedback welcomed.

Built for:

Handymen, painters, plumbers, sparkies, tilers, carpenters, plasterers — anyone whose jobs vary day-to-day.
If your work is repetitive and your saved templates already do the job, this probably isn't for you yet. Quickhands earns its keep on the jobs that don't fit a template.

A NOTE FROM ME

I'm Raymond — Sydney-based industrial designer, with some handyman experience on the side. I come from a family that spent decades in the construction business and saw how things got built and repaired.I built Quickhands because every quoting app I've seen or tried was either built for big crews or designed by people who'd never spent a day on a worksite. I wanted something a one-person operation could actually use between jobs, like myself or my parents business.Quickhands is at early test stage. From the current feedback I've gotten, the numbers are a solid starting point and line items are detailed. However — for unusual jobs you'll want to give them a quick once-over before sending. Overall it works well enough.

HOW IT WORKS — DONE WITHIN MINUTES

Three taps. One quote.

01 — SPEAK

Tap record. Describe the job in plain English. Skip hire, prep, travel, waste disposal — say whatever comes to mind.

02 — REVIEW

Quickhands lays out line items, labour, materials, GST, and a grand total — and flags the line items you didn't mention but probably need. Edit anything. Add or remove lines. Adjust your hourly rate.

03 — SEND

Branded PDF goes via email, SMS, or WhatsApp. Saved to your quote history so you can pull it up next time a similar job comes in.

What makes it different

Most quoting apps are templates — you fill in what you remember. Quickhands writes the quote with you, and flags the costs that get forgotten under pressure: skip hire, travel time, dust protection, prep, waste disposal, after-hours loading.
That's the part you usually only notice halfway through the job — when it's already costing you.
Built for Australian sole operators. GST handled automatically (including the $75K turnover threshold). ABN and licence number on every PDF. Prices in AUD. No setup fees, no minimum users, no per-employee pricing.

Pricing

Free during MVP. Anyone who gives me feedback during this period gets the first three months free after launch.
After launch: $10/month for unlimited quotes. Free tier with 5 quotes/month always available.
No setup fees. No per-employee pricing. Cancel any time.

Quickhands — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 MAY 2026Quickhands is a quoting app for Australian sole-operator tradies, built by
Raymond Zeng in Sydney, Australia. This policy explains what data we
collect, why we collect it, and what your rights are.
What we collectWhen you use Quickhands, we may collect:- Usage data: which screens you open, which buttons you tap, how long
you use the app for. This is collected via PostHog, an analytics
service. No personal identifiers are sent (no names, no ABNs, no
customer details).
- Crash reports: if the app crashes, we receive a technical report
showing what code was running. This is collected via Sentry. Crash
reports may include device model, OS version, and the technical state
of the app at the time of the crash. They do not include the contents
of your quotes or your customer data.
- Quote inputs and outputs: the voice transcripts and AI-generated
quotes are sent to our Supabase backend for processing and stored
there. Customer names, addresses, and contact details that you enter
are stored only on your device (in your phone's local storage) and are
NOT sent to our backend.
Why we collect it- To make the app work (quote generation requires sending the transcript
to AI services).
- To find and fix bugs.
- To understand which features are useful and which aren't.
- To improve the AI's quote accuracy over time using aggregated
anonymised quote data.
Who has access- Raymond Zeng, the developer of Quickhands.
- The third-party services Quickhands uses: Supabase (database and
serverless functions), Anthropic (Claude API for quote generation),
OpenAI (Whisper for voice transcription), PostHog (analytics), Sentry
(crash reports). Each of these has its own privacy policy.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with marketers.Your rightsYou can request deletion of all data we hold about you by emailing
[email protected]. We will action the request within 30 days.
You can stop using the app at any time and uninstalling will stop all
data collection from your device.

Demo release terms
Last updated: 05 JUNE 2026
Quickhands is currently in a early demo. This means:
- Accuracy: Quote outputs are AI-generated and may be inaccurate. Always review every quote before sending it to a customer. You are responsible for the accuracy of your quotes.- Demo expiry: The demo APK quotation support may be discontinued when a future test version is released. Notice will be given ahead of time to users when this happens.
You will not be able to create new quotes from this version, but you will retain access to your saved quotes, profile, and the ability to re-share PDFs of past quotes. You will either asked to an updated test version of the app or be prompted to install the released version from Google Play to continue using the quotation functionality.
- Data continuity: Demo data is stored locally on your device. To
preserve your quotes across the transition to the released version,
use the "Backup all quotes" feature in Settings before installing the
Play Store version. This generates a single PDF containing all your past quotes for safekeeping.
- Diagnostic data: During test app usage, we collect more detailed usage and crash data than we will in the released version to help us find and fix bugs. This is covered by the data collection section above. You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling.- Feedback: Demo users can send feedback at any time via Settings → Send feedback. We genuinely read every message.
